Don’t know if anyone saw this, but in the Oct. 7 issue of US magazine, there is an article on p. 75 about Kim Kardashian’s quest to lose her baby weight. I’m sharing this excerpt for a couple of reasons. First, it shows that even rich celebrities have weight issues and hit plateaus (if the story is true). Secondly, it references her as following Atkins, but it shows the misperception about Atkins being no carbs.

Kim Kardashian will soon be reunited with her size-2 skinny jeans. “She’s lost about 40 pounds and only has 10 more to go,” says a source close to the reality star, who welcomed daughter North (with Kanye West) on June 15. Still, her journey back to her pre-pregnancy weight has hardly come easily.
“In August, Kim got frustrated because she hit a plateau, even though she was eating mostly lean proteins and veggies,” says another insider. That’s when the entrepreneur, 32, made her most serious sacrifice. “Kim eliminated carbs entirely,” says the source. She’s working out here and there, but it’s mainly about the food, Atkins-style.”
While passing on the bread and pasta has been no piece of cake, “Kim’s determined to stick to the plan,” adds the source. “She finally feels good again.”
