I am hanging in there, missed being here for a while. Doing well on the eating challenges. I find the Atkins way is dominant now (most of the time) Recognizing the "boredom" eating habit and just saying "no". I haven't said no to any food in a very long time! When I start to reach for something, out of habit, I ask myself "are you hungry?" I am not ever hungry on Atkins, really! I can always find something like celery and almond butter to take an edge off (two stalks & 2TBSP) such a treat now!! I found a good breakfast of protein carries me a long way during the day. I also have been using the Atkins meal replacement bars, or shakes, once a day. It's been very helpful to focus on what I can have not what I can't have.
I hope all of my new friends are winning the battle. It doesn't matter how many times you try, just keep trying!!
My new job is in a semi-holding pattern out of kindness to the retiring individual and thats ok!! Life is what it is, sometimes up sometimes down! I am enjoying filling in for now and hoping..................
