Sunday was a nice day for a walk

It started out cold on Sunday morning but the sun was shining so nicely that I decided to take a walk anyway.  It was cold to begin with (lower 30's) but started to warm up nicely on my way back.  I walked 3 miles by my house.  I really enjoyed being in the sun and taking in the beauty of the country.

I slacked this weekend and didn't cook anything for lunch but thought I would run to Walgreens this afternoon and get something low carb.  I got to Walgreens but they do not have the frozen Atkins meals so I looked for potted meat.  They didn't have that, either.  I wound up buying a medium carb lunch of chicken and dumplings.  Then I looked for pork rinds but there were none of those, either.  My lunch break was waning away so I just picked up some popcorn.  To say the least, this has not been a low carb day.  Hoping to work some of this off at the gym tonight.  I plan on cooking when I get home tonight so that I have something to take with me to work tomorrow for lunch.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm a lifeguard/engineering student so I have no money and little time. This is going to sound silly, but one thing I always have is a can opener in my locker at work. If I were in your situation at a Walgreens or CVS next time I would get a small can of green beans and a can of tuna or one of those premade tuna salad kits then just pitch the crackers. Sure it's not particularly tasty, but it's quick and gets the job done without the carbs. You could also get canned chili and heat it up in a coffee mug. The canned aisle is your friend when you have no clue what you're doing in the kitchen or when your "kitchen" consists of a microwave, coffee maker, and george foreman in the office =P

Hey great job on the walk, I walk a mile everyday and it is still challenging to me and about every 4 days I walk just a little bit further.
