getting fustrated
five days now and no more weight loss, in fact im feeling a bit swelled up dont know if i am doing this by seasoning my food with herbs and other spices which may contain salt but I feel like I hit a stand still,  I am eatting what I should but just dont see it happening like my first two weeks did for me.  Im heading into my forth week.  Can anyone give me any suggestions to jump start my weight loss again.  I walk at least 3 times a week and am very active during the day.  Last night I went to bed feeling a bit hungry but i just drank a glass of water. I know  i reached my numbers last night so I didnt want to overeat.  Really want to get more weight me :(

Hi Denise, I use Mrs. Dash seasoning (salt free) or fresh herbs to season my food...do you measure yourself? If not start doing that, some days I see nothing come off in pounds and ounces but I lose some inches...it's a really great tool to use.

You never know how close you really are to loss....Are you logging your food, are you within 1200-1500 calories as well? I use fatsecret.com to make sure that I don't carb creep and to watch my calories as well. Your body gets use to this way of eating, so I have to change up my calories and carbs to help!! Stay strong my friend, because it really does work!!

sometimes people get hidden carbs that they aren't aware of. are you eating at restaurants at all and thinking you are eating low carb but possibly eating meat that had a sugar marinade? are you getting extra carbs in dressings or other foods that have sugars added? are you overdoing sugar alcohols/artificial sweeteners etc? also depending on where you are in your cycle, you could just be retaining water. I don't get too worried about a stall if it's just a few days. but it is always a good time to check in and make sure you aren't getting more carbs than you think. like db said, keep a log for a few days and keep a close eye on what you are eating.

Thank you all for answering, gonna take your advice and buy the dash and drink more water. I am very careful with everything else, i make my own foods and track and log them everyday. My numbers are always on as I plan my menus. Im not going to stress unless i dont see weight loss for a long time. I am also going to measure and I do believe it can be my cycle.
