Starvation is no the answer since our bodies are built to keep us alive under any circumstance so our bodies accomodates to the circumstances. IF we eat less than we should our bodies are going to double the calories and start storing for future "famine/starvation" moments. Maybe this is why you gain weight when eating the Atkins bars.
Do not starve yourself. Try other healthy snack instead of the bars dependending of the phase you are and keep being active as much as possible. Do not be discouraged. Do not weight yourself too often since this is a major issue for many of us. Live one day at a time. Hope this help a little :)

Instead of turning to an Atkins' bar since you notice weight gain when you use them, try to just eat a small snack like a couple of deviled eggs, a piece of cheese and a couple of cherry tomatoes, Bell pepper slices with dressing, slice of ham with cream cheese and a green onion wrapped up together. They wouldn't stall your weight loss and would give your body something every few hours for energy. Just pick a couple of things from the acceptable foods list and keep the servings small. Endless possibilities... Hope this helps. Here's to happy and healthy. Michelle
