I have not been too successful. I can only attribute it to myself and my lack of "stick to itness" being not quite there.
I made it through the first two weeks without a problem. Then we went to the mountains with his aunt and uncle and I went off of my plan. Boy did I pay for it though! I had a stomach ache like you could not believe when I started eating white flour again!
Since then I have been to Illinois, Mom is on her last days, and while I tried to stay on the diet, it was not totally possible. I tried to make intelligent decisions when it came to my food. I still put on 5 pounds.
So I had a few good days and yesterday we went to see "The Butler". It was a good film, but I ended up eating popcorn! Yikes!
I have a firm belief that this is one of the "One Day at a Time" situations. So, I am going to start over again today...Just had a Muffin in a Minute...I add some vanilla to the mix and it is really good.
Today I will eat low carb, and give my stomach a chance to get back to its normal happy self. I have also made up a menu of what I plan to eat for the rest of the week. That helps a lot as well.
